SEPTEMBER MORNING TUBS:

1. Printing - Fine Motor Skills: Students will trace the apple shapes and the letters.
2. Rhyming: Color the picture that rhymes
3. Letter Identification - Letter Matching Puzzle: Place the lowercase letter puzzle piece over the matching uppercase letter puzzle piece to complete the puzzle.
4. Sequence(Directed Drawing): Follow the directions on the drawings to complete the images.
5. Make a Pattern: Continue the pattern and color the counting bears. Then create the pattern using linking cubes.
6. Dab Mat – Uppercase and Lowercase Letters: Dab the uppercase and lowercase letters.
7. Beginning Sounds: Place the picture card on the correct letter mat. Continue this process until all picture cards are sorted by their beginning sounds.
8. Names (Editable PowerPoint and PDF File): Students will build their names using building blocks.
9. Alphabet Motor Skills: Push a pin through each hole to trace the letters.
10. Uppercase and Lowercase Letter Matching: Clip the matching lowercase letters.
11. Search & Cover: Cover the letters that match the letters on the front of the basket using pompoms, counters, or mini erasers.
12. Vocabulary: Students will use dough to build the word.
13. Tracing Numbers 0-20: Trace the number on the card.
14. Number Basket: Draw the number of apples to match the number on the basket.
15. Ten Frames: Match the number on the ten frame to the number of fingers and the number on the dice.
16. 2D Shapes: Look at the shape on the backpacks. Clip all of the real-life shapes that match.
17. 2D Shape Tracing: Trace the shape of the road with a toy car. Then trace the dotted shapes with a pencil.
18. Colors: Roll a dice. Color a backpack with a matching number.
19. Sort Numbers, Letters, and Shapes: Tell whether each book has a letter, number, or shape on it. Put the book on the correct bus.
20. Ten Frames: Use counters to show the number on a ten frame.
21. Addition: Solve each problem then follow the code to color each section of the picture.
22. Subtraction: Sort each subtraction problem according to their answer.
23. Syllables: Say the word. Count the syllables. Color the corresponding number of apples.
24. SEL Learning Center: Look at the emotion on the card. Draw a picture of yourself when you have felt the emotion.
